ABOUT OUR FOLK SCHOOL

Hello.

We offer year-round classes and programs for all ages in many different art mediums, traditional crafts, woodworking, outdoor skills and blacksmithing.​

 

Our Folk School seeks to build a community of artists that will grow and enhance our mission to bring heritage and traditional arts to our region. If you would like to participate in offering a class, or know of an artist we can reach out to, please contact us.

 

PRINCIPLES OF OUR FOLK SCHOOL

The Pine to Prairie Folk School is a non-profit center for traditional skills in Fosston, Minnesota. Our mission is to preserve heritage trades and foster community through experiential learning and the teaching of traditional crafts. We’re passionate about the power of craft, both for building individual ability, and for knitting a strong regional community.​
